While devouring everything I can about adoption, I came across a wonderful cross-section of articles on what seems like the “Never-Ending Wait.” What is so great about these articles is that they address the fact that:
• Others have “Been There, Done That”
• Children arrived and everyone lived to tell about “The Wait”
So, while you are waiting, you can read about waiting! Many of the articles offer wonderful suggestions on how to manage the wait time. I hope you find them beneficial during your wait time!

How to Survive the Adoption Wait Time:
Written by little old me, it serves as a reminder of all the things I can be doing while waiting!
Yes, the wait is hard! And, as most of these resources point out, the closer you get to your goal, the harder the wait becomes! We are, Lord willing, within mere weeks of finalizing this adoption (of course we thought that last December and in February!). This belief, coupled with the fact that we just met our precious children, show that it is harder as you get closer! I keep telling myself that it will be soon, and that I will thwaak myself in the head for not savoring this time of quietness in the house!
