Not only would she not approach my two small Shelties (miniature collies) but she sobbed and begged me to stah=y away. After about four months with no improvement I took them to the groomer to be shaved down. (I had not been able to groom as regularly due to her fear.) When I brought them home, she loved the new "smooth doggies" and willingly walked and played with them. Maybe if you shaved the cat?
